WCF Secretary-General Transition

Debbie Lines has stepped down early as Secretary-General to focus on chairing the WCF Incorporation Sub-Committee, working with Peter Payne and Samir Patel on transitioning the WCF to a limited company. This change is key to the organisation’s long-term financial security.

Rosemary Landrebe has been appointed Secretary-General with immediate effect. Debbie will continue supporting the Management Committee and work closely with Rosemary over the next four months to ensure a smooth handover.

WCF Management Committee Nominations Open

Nominations are now open for the roles of Treasurer and four Management Committee positions, commencing 1 January 2026. Nominations close Friday 31 October 2025.

Nominations must be submitted via the Croquet Australia CEO and include candidate and Member authorisation, a brief résumé with objectives, and a headshot photo.

If more candidates than vacancies are received, a Council election will be held. Candidates may apply for both Treasurer and MC roles, with the Treasurer position elected first.

With the WCF moving towards incorporation, elected members will also become the inaugural Board of Directors.
