Tournament Prospectus Information

Event Partners

Croquet Victoria are pleased to recognise Sport and Recreation Victoria as a Platinum Partner. 

Croquet Victoria are pleased to recognise Quest Watergardens as a Gold Partner. 

A part of the agreement is discounted accommodation for players and attendees across the coming year. Below are are the discounted rates and method of booking:
•    Studio Apartments $150 per apartment, per night (do not have laundry facilities however, we do have a communal laundry)
•    One Bedroom $195 per apartment, per night
•    Two Bedroom $220 per apartment per nigh

Croquet Victoria are delighted to recognise Transforma Mallets as a Silver Partner for the Carnival of Croquet livestreaming to be held in September 2026. Transforma Mallets are designed for beginner to advanced croquet players. Check their website for more information.

Key Event Dates

• Australian Golf Croquet Men's Singles Championship: Saturday 5th to Tuesday 8th September at Cairnlea (including plate)
• A welcome event will be held at VCC on the evening of Friday 4^th September (see below for ticket information)
• Trophy Presentation & Cocktail Function: Tuesday 8th September at Cairnlea (see below for ticket information)

Registration & Briefing

The players briefing information will be distributed to those attending the BBQ on Friday evening and reiterated prior to the event start of play at each venue (7.30am on Saturday 5th Sept)

Practice Sessions

Practice available on Friday 4 September from 3.30-5-30pm (Prior to BBQ Dinner and introduction to Men’s and Women’s event).

Venue Hospitality 

On-site catering will be available during the event. 

• Lunch will be available at VCC for purchase each day - sandwiches ($11-$13 each) plus pies etc
• Drinks - tea & coffee (free), soft drinks, bottled water $3  

Functions

A welcome event will be held at VCC on the evening of 4^th September, coinciding with the presentation of the 2026 GC Gold and Silver Medals.

Men’s Singles Winners and Plate presentations will be made at a cocktail function to be held at VCC on the evening of 8^th September coinciding with the presentation of the ISS State teams.

Event Photography
Croquet Australia wish to advise players and spectators that this event will be subject to filming and photography for promotion and player development purposes by approved persons only. Any photos and images will only be used for CA promotional purposes to promote the sport of Croquet. Medal and trophy winners (including parents/guardians of players under age 18) should advise the Tournament Manager if they do not wish to have their image used for marketing/promotional purposes and player development, and should not participate in the photography of presentation ceremonies.
