WCF Announces Rosemary Landrebe as Deputy Secretary-General

Published Mon 04 Aug 2025

The World Croquet Federation (WCF) Management Committee has announced the appointment of Australia's Rosemary Landrebe as Deputy Secretary-General, effective 1 September 2025.

As previously advised, current Secretary-General Debbie Lines will retire at the end of her four-year term on 31 December 2025. It is the intention of the WCF that Rosemary will step into the role of Secretary-General from 1 January 2026, with eligibility for a second four-year term from 1 January 2030 to 31 December 2033.

Rosemary brings a wealth of experience to the position, having held senior operations and management roles across sporting and not-for-profit sectors. She has worked extensively with Croquet Australia and Croquet New South Wales, leading implementation and improvement initiatives and supporting coaching programs.

Croquet Australia Chair Pat Habner congratulated Rosemary on her appointment, saying:

“Rosie’s appointment is recognition of her contribution to croquet both on and off the court. Her leadership and experience for croquet will serve the WCF well, and I know she will approach this role with the same dedication she has always shown. On behalf of Croquet Australia, I wish her every success as she takes on this exciting new chapter.”

The WCF Management Committee is confident that Rosemary’s deep commitment to croquet and her professional expertise make her exceptionally well-suited for this important leadership role.
