Tony played a central role in promoting and developing Golf Croquet as a competitive discipline, both in Australia and globally. His leadership, vision, and tireless work helped shape the direction of the sport for generations.
Despite his many administrative achievements, Tony remained deeply connected to club life. He was a familiar and well-loved figure at the Canberra Croquet Club, where he continued to play Gateball until just a week before his passing.
Tony Hall’s legacy is profound. He will be remembered not only for his strategic insight and dedication but also for his warmth, generosity, and enduring passion for the game.
