Croquet Australia are pleased to announce the following recent appointments for the roles of National Operations Manager and Pathways and Administration Co-Ordinator.

National Operations Manager

We are pleased to welcome Damon Selwyn to the NOM role at Croquet Australia.

Damon commenced with CA on Monday 30th March and brings a significant background of operational and leadership experience in multiple sports including table tennis, basketball, lawn bowls and golf. Damon was Executive Officer at Table Tennis Queensland for the past 3 years and was instrumental in a number of significant milestone achievements at TTQ including the negotiation of a 7-year partnership with Moreton Bay City Council to establish a Centre of Excellence in Moreton Bay for the delivery of State and National events until 2031. Damon will prioritise connecting with our state affiliates and other key stakeholders to offer support with any operational issues regarding events, membership, revsport and other needs as they arise.

Pathways and Administration Co-Ordinator

We are also pleased to welcome Katrina Stopinski to the role of Pathways and Administration Co-Ordinator at Croquet Australia.

Katrina joins the team with over ten years’ experience in people and culture, along with a strong background in high performance sport and athlete wellbeing. She most recently worked with Cricket Victoria as a Player Development Manager, where she partnered with players, coaches and performance staff to design and deliver wellbeing, education and transition programs that support both performance and personal growth. Alongside her professional career, Katrina has been involved in AFL umpiring for 19 years and currently works part time as an Assistant Field Umpire Coach across the State League and Talent Pathway.

On behalf of the board of Croquet Australia, we welcome Damon and Katrina to CA and look forward to their positive contributions to the sport.
