Update on Croquet Australia Leadership

the Board of Croquet Australia wish to advise that Chris Bannerman has resigned from his position as General Manager of Croquet Australia, effective 12 June 2026. Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, Chris has needed to step down immediately. We respect his privacy and wish him well.

The Board would like to acknowledge Chris's contribution to Croquet Australia. He has played a key role in building a great team who have made enormous progress in updating policy and process for the benefit of all.

Interim Arrangement

The Board are pleased to advise that Damon Selwyn, our current National Operations Manager, will step into the role of Acting General Manager effective immediately. Damon brings extensive organisational knowledge and operational experience across a range of sports and is well placed to maintain continuity during this transition.

The Board has full confidence in Damon's capacity to lead the national office through this period.

We will be working with Damon in the coming weeks to review our organisational design and processes as we use this change to update and improve our operational capabilities.

In the interim, please direct any national office enquiries to Damon Selwyn.

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to working closely with you all.

Yours sincerely,

The Board
