CA Website & Pathways Academy Updates

Academy Committee Update
The Academy Committee has continued to make good progress towards creating a more accessible and user-friendly learning experience for everyone involved in croquet. At its June meeting, the Committee discussed improving how members access development resources, while ensuring future accreditation pathways remain simple, practical and sustainable.

One of the key priorities is the redevelopment of the Academy section of the Croquet Australia website. A new Academy page has now been developed, with the aim of creating a single entry point for Coaching, Officiating, Player Resources and Tournament Management. The new structure will make it easier for members to find resources, improve accessibility and reduce the need to download documents. The existing Academy website will continue to be utilised only for Coaching Accreditation. These pages are still undergoing development, however you can start visiting them.

The Academy is continuing to work through how to consolidate the existing Academy videos into a central Resource Library, and we look forward to making these valuable resources available to the croquet community very soon!

Croquet Australia Website Refresh
You may have noticed that the Croquet Australia website looks a little different. We've been tidying things up behind the scenes; not changing anything you need to know, just making it easier to find.

Here's what has changed:

  • Resources has been removed from the main menu.  Everything that was listed there (including insurance information, forms, grants, Club Assist and RevSPORT) is now under Governance → Forms & Resources
  • Governance has been reorganised.  What was previously a long flat list of items is now grouped into four clear sections: Compliance & Safety, Records & Reporting, Policies, and Forms & Resources. Everything that was previously listed separately under Governance and Resources is now together in one place, organised by topic.
  • About has a new CA Personnel page.  The Board and Committees pages have been merged into a single page, CA Personnel, making it easier to find out who is involved in running the organisation.

This website map shows every section and page, along with its web address, so you always know where to look. If you can't find something or have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
