2025 Association Croquet Presidents' 8s Conclude at Cairnlea
The 2025 Association Croquet Presidents’ 8s wrapped up at the Victorian Croquet Centre, showcasing a weekend of outstanding competition and sportsmanship.
1st Eight:
Dwayne McCormick (Norwood) went back-to-back, claiming the Eddie Hunt Trophy after defeating Greg Hill (Brunswick) in a playoff 26TP–0. Both players ended the round robin with 9 wins and 5 losses.
2nd Eight:
James Carlisle (Cammeray) went through the event undefeated with 14 wins to secure the Tom Howat Cup, with Stephen Richards (Canberra) finishing runner-up with 9 wins.
3rd Eight:
Colin Clark (Maryborough) edged out Joanne Brown (Cammeray) in a tight playoff 19–17 to win the Major Tingey Tray. Both players ended their round robin with 11 wins and 2 losses.
