Croquet Australia is pleased to confirm the National Event Calendar for 2027.  

Important Information in 2027
Further to several changes announced last year (2025) which took effect in the 2026 Event Calendar, the notable changes for 2027 include the separation of the Gold Medal events from Teams/Singles commencing from January 2027 with the Australian Croquet Gold Medal to be held from 8-10 January at Sandy Bay, Tasmania and the Golf Croquet Gold Medal to be held from 8-10 September at Cairnlea, Victoria. We look forward to recognising the winners of each state bronze medal event to qualify for the Gold Medal events in 2027 under this format. 

Together with the support of Croquet Victoria, we have also included a designated training/coaching day prior to the U21 Singles and Doubles to be held from 11-13 January at Cairnlea. We appreciate the cooperation and support of Croquet Victoria in facilitating this opportunity to assist in the development pathway for our youth and junior players. 

Event Registration Protocol in 2027
All events requiring player registration (singles and doubles events) will open 60 days prior to the event date, and entries will close 30 days prior. This allows the relevant selectors and tournament organisers sufficient time to compile seedings and draws after the closing date and allow a program to be published at least 7 days prior to each event. 

Croquet Australia would like to acknowledge the support of each affiliate state and club who nominated to host events on the 2027 National Calendar, and we look forward to working with them and supporting the many officials and club volunteers who are so very important to delivering successful events for the players.
