Expressions of interest are now open for the Association Croquet President's 8s to be held at Cairnlea from 2-5 October 2026.
 
Closing date for expressions of interest is Friday 28, August 2026.
 
FORMAT: Three open Eights of 8 players.  Each Eight will be filled based on a player's grade on 31 August 2026.  Up to 2 wildcards may be chosen outside of the player's current grade per eight.
 
ELIGIBILITY: Players must have played a minimum 20 games in the preceding 12 months up to 31 August 2026.  Players who have not met the eligibility are welcome to submit an EOI and be considered for a wildcard.
 
WILDCARD: May be awarded by the AC selection committee, taking into account any one or more of the following:
1.    The encouragement of players showing exceptional promise of future development
2.    A player who does not meet the minimum game criteria in the previous 12 months
 
OVERSEAS: Internation entries are welcome; the player must be affiliated with the national body or governing body of a WCF Member country.
 
ENTRY FEE: An equalisation fee structure is being used for this event following the trial in 2025. Fees are subject to change depending on the final entries.  Invoices will be issued after the closing date.

*WA entrants are not charged an entry fee - this is an event subsidy to assist with the cost of travel and accomodation.
