Expressions of interest are now open for the Golf Croquet President's 8s to be held at Cairnlea from 6-8 February 2026.

Closing date for expressions of interest is Friday, 9 January 2026 

FORMAT: Four open Eights of 8 players.  Women's only 8 has been removed. Each Eight will be filled based on a player's grade on 9 January 2026.  Up to 2 wildcards may be chosen outside of the player's current grade per eight. 32 players will be invited to compete.

ELIGIBILITY: Players must have played a minimum 20 games in the preceeding 12 months up to 9 January 2026.  Players who have not met the eligibility are welcome to EOI and be considered for a wildcard.

WILDCARD: May be awarded by the GC selection committee, taking into account any one or more of the following:

• The encouragement of players showing exceptional promise of future development
• A player who does not meet the minimum game criteria in the previous 12 months

OVERSEAS: International entries are welcome; the player must be affiliated with the national body or governing body of a WCF Member country.

ENTRY FEE: A trial fee structure will be introduced for this event. Fees are subject to change depending on the final entries.  Invoices will be issued after the closing date.
