Croquet Australia held its Annual General Meeting on 14 May 2025 and is pleased to announce key leadership appointments and changes to the Board of Directors.

Pat Habner has been appointed Chair of Croquet Australia. Pat brings extensive leadership experience to the role, having previously served as Chair of Croquet Queensland for four years. Her dedication and proven track record in governance are invaluable assets to the organisation as it continues to grow and evolve.

Joining her in the executive leadership team, Ben Richardson has been appointed Deputy Chair, while Claire Keating continues in her role as Treasurer, providing continuity and financial stewardship.

The Board also welcomes Sarah Widin as its newest Director. Sarah’s fresh perspective and commitment to the sport will be a valuable addition to the team.

Croquet Australia extends its sincere thanks to outgoing Chair, Jim Nicholls, for his outstanding service over the past eight years. Jim’s leadership has been instrumental in many of the organisation’s achievements. We wish him continued success in his new role on the World Croquet Federation Management Committee.

We also acknowledge and thank Barbara Northcott and Nick Chapman for their contributions, as their terms as Directors come to a close.

Croquet Australia looks forward to a productive year ahead with its newly appointed Board and continued support for the development of croquet across Australia.
