2026 Australian Golf Croquet Women and Men Singles

The 2026 Women’s and Men’s GC Singles will be held concurrently in Victoria from Saturday 5^th to Tuesday 8^th September. They will be preceded by the 2026 Gold Medal (2-4 Sep), and will immediately precede the Interstate Shield (ISS: 9-13 Sep). Tournament Headquarters will be at the Victorian Croquet Centre (VCC) in Cairnlea.

The Open events comprise two days of block play, followed by two days of knockout Finals. Non-finalists proceed to a Plate event on Day 3, and Plate Finals on Day 4. Additional play will be arranged on Day 4 for Plate non-finalists based on demand.

Satellite venues will also be used to accommodate expected entries.

Venues to be used (in addition to VCC) may include:

-            Ballarat Alexandra Croquet Club (4 courts)

-            Ballarat Western Croquet Club (3 courts)

-            Belmont Croquet Club (Geelong) (3 courts)

-            Brunswick Mallet Sports Club (2 courts)

-            Williamstown Croquet Club (2 courts)

-            Essendon Croquet Club (2 courts)

A welcome event will be held at VCC on the evening of 4^th September, coinciding with the presentation of the 2026 GC Gold and Silver Medals. Men’s and Women’s Open winners and Plate presentations will be made at a function held at VCC on the evening of 8^th September coinciding with the presentation of the ISS State teams. Function details will be provided separately to registrants.

Registration is open from 7 July 2026, and close on 5 August, one month prior to the events.

Entries close: Wednesday 5th August (midnight)

Entry Fees and Payment
Pay via Credit Card: Entry fees are set at $140.00 per entry (no increase from 2025) + transaction fees of $4.49 when paying by credit card on registration. We would very much appreciate players selecting the payment via credit option to help reduce the administrative burden on our small team at Croquet Australia. 

Pay via Bank Transfer: If you choose to pay via bank transfer, you should download the invoice provided and when paying, please include the name/event/ref number shown on the invoice - for example:
Bob Smith/GC Singles/ME12923

Entry Refunds
In the event of a withdrawal from this event, any player may request in accordance with the CA refund policy. Entries paid by credit card can be refunded to the card used for payment within 2-3 business days of a refund request. 

Maximum Entry Limit
EAG and Tournament organisers have set a 48 player maximum for both the Men's and Women's single events. If either event is oversubscribed, the GC Selection Committee may choose the final position (48) from the entry list that sits outside the top 47 ranked players. All other players will be placed on the reserve list.
