Regional Insurance Brokers has been working in close partnership with the sports and leisure industry in Australia for many years. This experience has led to the development of insurance and risk protection programs that identify and address the total risk exposures of the sports industry. Regional Insurance Brokers also recognises the importance of working alongside our clients to improve all aspects of their physical, legal and financial safety.
Croquet Australia has chosen the following covers with Regional Insurance Brokers:
- General Liability (incorporating public and products liability) up to $20,000,000
- Professional Indemnity up to $2,000,000
- Management Liability up to $2,000,000
- Accidental Death & Disablement cover up to $50,000 per member
- Medical cover 85% up to $2,500 *
- Loss of income benefits up to $250 per week for up to 52 weeks
- Corporate Travel
* As per the Health Insurance Act, Medicare Items are not covered by this policy. Croquet Australia's policy then covers such expenses as private hospital accommodation, ambulance, physiotherapy and dental fees up to a combined $2,500 in total for each medical claim.
The level of cover under the program is not 'comprehensive' and as such, we encourage all participants to review their own individual needs. Where appropriate, we advise participants to take out private health, life and income protection insurance. It is an individual's responsibility to ensure that he/she has adequate insurance cover for his/her needs.

Legal Liability
Limit of indemnity is $20,000,000. Provides cover against losses where you are held legally liable to pay as compensation in respect to personal injury, property damage, or advertising injury as a result of an occurrence in connection with the club’s activities.
Professional Indemnity
Limit of indemnity is $2,000,000. Provides cover against losses arising from a claim against you arising out of a breach of professional duty in the conduct of the club’s business.
Management Liability
Limit of indemnity is $2,000,000. Provides cover for the sporting club and officers for losses arising from claims for wrongful acts in the conduct of the club business.
Personal Accident
85% of Non-Medicare expenses, up to $2,500. Provides cover to insured persons for death, injury or disability caused by an injury happening during sporting events arranged by you or your sporting association.
Corporate Travel
Provides cover for members, coaches, volunteers and accompanying spouses and dependant children travelling to a destination outside a radius of 100km for the purpose of croquet.
