2010 ACA AGM

Notice is hereby given that the 61st Annual General Meeting of the Australian Croquet Association Incorporated will be held on Monday 29th March 2010 at the Victorian Croquet centre, 65 Noble banks Drive Cairnlea Victoria 3023, commencing at 10am.

Please find attached a Timetable that details when notices of motion, discussion papers, nominations and reports are to be filed with the ACA (and when ACA is to distribute documents to states).

I have also attached a nomination form [PDF, Word] (not required for Appointed Officers) to be submitted to Executive Director ACA no later than 16 November 2009.

Delegates

Each State Association is eligible to be represented by two delegates and must notify their names to the Executive Director ACA at least fourteen (14) days prior to the AGM.  State Associations may also appoint proxies for their delegates in accordance with the ACA Handbook.

Notices of Motion

Business to be discussed at the AGM must be advised by Notice of Motion setting out the precise motion to be considered and accompanied by explanatory notes (rationale). Any such Motion, including motions to amend the Constitution or By-Laws must be forwarded to the ED on or before 2 December 2009.

Nominations

Nominations must be in writing and signed by the nominee and be forwarded to the ED ACA on or before 16 November 2009. (Nomination Form attached).

ACA Committees and Appointed Officers Reports

Reports which contain specific recommendations are required to be filed with the ED ACA on or before 2 December 2009.  Other reports including Annual Reports are to be filed with the ED ACA no later than 12 February 2010.
