2009 WCF Women's World
Golf Croquet Championship


Australia is proud to host the 3rd WCF Women's World Golf Croquet Championship from 21-28 November 2009.

Location

The Championship will be conducted at the Victorian Croquet Centre (VCC). The VCC is the major Croquet complex in the state of Victoria with 12 courts. It is located at 65 Nobel Banks Drive, in the Melbourne suburb of Cairnlea. Phone +61 3 83618887.

Format

The WCF Rules of Golf Croquet (2007) will be used.
The Championship will be played under the WCF Sports Regulations.

Results

Results will be posted to the Croquet Australia web site regularly during each day's play. A direct link will be posted from this page as well.

Transport Arrangements

Transport arrangements for Saturday 21 November 2009 for players who have indicated that they require transport from their accommodation to the Victorian Croquet Centre

Saturday morning – (2 buses) 9.00 am Marriott Hotel, 9.00 am Mantra Southbank Hotel 9.15 am Citigate Melbourne Hotel.  Second pick up at Citigate Melbourne Hotel at 11.00 am if requested.   

Saturday morning – (1 bus) North Quest Williamstown 9.00 am, 9.15 am Ashley Gardens.  Second trip Ashley Gardens followed by West City Motel at 10.00am 

Please note buses are 10 seater minibuses and seatbelts must be worn.

Transport arrangements for subsequent days throughout the championship will be discussed with the players on Saturday following their arrival at the Victorian Croquet centre.

Spectators (or players) who are catching a train to Ginifer station may phone the Victorian Croquet Centre (8361 7393) or Lorna (0427 902 335) to be collected from the station and driven to the Victorian Croquet centre.
