The ACA Executive Committee has now reviewed the appointment of Steve Jones (Australian Coaching Consultant) following the Trans - Tasman Test Series as required in his letter of appointment.

Mr Jones from Queensland was appointed to the position of Australian Team Coach on 31 October 2007 subject to attaining his Level 2 Coaching Qualification and later review.

Concurrently, the Australian Sports Commission requested the ACA to re-register its coaching courses. Consequently the ACA offered the position of Coaching Consultant to Mr Jones pending formal accreditation with the NCAS which has now been received.

Mr Jones has now fulfilled all the requirements of his appointment and we are pleased to appoint him formally to the position of Australian Team Coach. This appointment is to be operative until the conclusion of the MacRobertson Shield Test Series in 2010.
