Selectors Update

The AC Selectors would like to alert potential players to the following timelines for selections of upcoming AC events.  In particular the AC Women’s Worlds (Oct/Nov 2012), the AC Trans Tasman (Jan/Feb 2013) and the AC MacRob (Jan/Feb 2014).  It is anticipated that the selections for the Women’s Worlds will be completed after the 2012 Patron’s Trophy (June).  The selections for the Trans Tasman will be completed after the 2012 Presidents  Eights (October) and the selections for the 2014 MacRobertson Shield will be completed after the 2013 Patrons (June).  The selectors would like to inform potential players that they will be focusing on performances within 12 months of selection but will also be taking into consideration performances within the prior 2 years and back to similar events, i.e. previous Trans Tasmans or MacRobertson Shields as appropriate.  Please take this into consideration when planning your playing schedule to maximise your chances of selection.
