New Executive Director

The ACA Executive has announced that Nerida Taylor has been selected to fill the position of Executive Director.  She is appointed as Honorary Secretary to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Gail Farr with immediate effect.  She is appointed as Acting Executive Director, effective Monday 15 August, and the appointment will become permanent from Monday 12 September.  Nerida has a wide work experience in the community sector and in all levels of Government (local, state and national).  She has been Executive Officer for two community based organisations and has managed high level Secretariats for the Australian Government on national planning and development issues as well as national transport security issues.  She has also been the Australian Government Administrator for the Jervis Bay Territory - a role for which she received an Australia Day Public Service award.  She has represented NSW in the Eire Cup in Association Croquet and competed in the WCF Womens Golf Croquet World Championship in 2009.  She is currently an active member of the Canberra Croquet Club.
