WHO IS IT ORGANISED FOR?
- Players selected for the upcoming World Championship in London.
- Extra players may include u/21 selected players or Women players with potential that are showing the selectors the requirements for the upcoming Women’s World championship.
WHAT WILL BE COVERED IN THE WEEKEND?
- Tactics and skills required to succeed in International play
- Tactics to restore games when behind
- Tactics in games to maintain leads
- Recognising risk and reward percentages
- Putting a plan and procedure into place over the 8 weeks before the Competition
- Requirements of an Australian croquet representative
- General workshop with players exchanging ideas and tactics
- Getting to know your Australian squad members
- Any input that players would like covered.
WHO WILL BE CONDUCTING THE WEEKEND?
The High Performance Manager, Peter Landrebe and the ACA are organising the weekend in conjunction with the GC selectors.
Sessions and instructions by Kevin Beard, Peter Landrebe and all the players.
WHAT WILL THE WEEKEND COST ME?
- The ACA will meet players travel cost’s
- The players are responsible for their own accommodation
- There is a $100 fee per player to be paid to the ACA that goes towards future coaching and funds towards International event requirements.
IS THIS WEEKEND COMPULSORY?
No, the weekend is not a requirement to be selected or compulsory after you have been selected.
